Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KetupART Studio handles information when you use Salahio.

Information associated with an account

Salahio can be used without an account. If you choose Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication processes your Google account identifier, email address, display name and profile image where available. Salahio uses this information to identify your account and show your profile. Optional gender and profile-completion settings are stored locally on your device.

Information stored on your device

Your selected region, language, Quran translation and font, time format, cached prayer times, prayer check-ins, Quran reading history, favorite ayahs and tasbih counters are stored locally on your device. This information is not currently synchronized to a Salahio cloud account.

Location

Salahio requests device location permission to calculate Qibla direction. The Qibla calculation is performed on the device. Prayer-time requests use the region you select, including its predefined coordinates or zone. Salahio does not attach your device location to your account.

Notifications

If you enable Azan or Iqamah notifications, Salahio schedules them locally on your device. Notification permissions and exact-alarm access are used only to deliver these reminders.

External services

Salahio uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication for optional accounts, AlAdhan and Waktu Solat services for prayer-time information, and EveryAyah for Quran audio. Requests to these services may include ordinary technical information such as your IP address and device network information under each provider's own privacy practices.

Advertising and analytics

Salahio does not currently include advertising SDKs or analytics services. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Account information remains in Firebase Authentication until you delete the account or ask us to delete it. Use the in-app deletion control or follow our account-deletion instructions. Locally stored information remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall Salahio.

Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards and trusted service providers, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Policy changes

We may update this policy when Salahio's features or legal obligations change. The latest version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
